Sephora isn't just someplace you pop into to purchase makeup, it's a community of women. Before you try a new product, you can read reviews from women all around the world. Signing up for an account gives you access to an online community where you can join the discussions on any topic, beauty-related. Here you learn about new products, tips, and tricks of applying skincare and makeup.
Signing up for an account is free. The first level is "Insider" and as you make more purchases you move to "VIB" then "Rouge". You get samples and points for all three levels, as well as access to in-store services but, as you move up the levels, points, gifts, in-store services, and savings on seasonal events increases. Plus, you get a free birthday gift with any level of account!
"Rouge" is the only level where you get free shipping on all orders, invites to exclusive events, first access to new products and product restocks.
You get points on every dollar spent and as these points accumulate, you can then use then to get free products, called "rewards". New rewards are launched on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but you have to get them as fast as you can because they get scooped up really quickly. You also get free products using "Beauty Offers". I have been "Rouge" for many years and the perks are awesome! I received a lot of free facials over the years, free shipping, attended lots of events, and lots of free products.
Shopping in-store is a real treat. Along with samples and rewards, you can request a sample of any product you want to try. You can also try the testers, I have seen people going in with a clean face and leaving with a full face of makeup. You also get lots of advice from the beauty advisors. You must visit them at Halloween, the staff goes all out with their makeup.
